Vacancy – Category manager

We are looking for a driven and results-oriented online category manager in the water pump industry. As an online category manager, you will be responsible for determining and implementing the best strategy for our product categories. You will be in contact with our current and new suppliers and fully committed to optimizing commercial results. In addition, you will also be involved in product forecasting and planning.

Our international organization is now active in eight countries and still growing rapidly! We are the online market leader in several niches across the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy, and the United Kingdom. For our webshops, we are looking for a category manager. Each country has its own unique customs in terms of product offerings and competition. With our 8 webshops in different countries, you have the opportunity to apply and implement different learnings in each market.

The candidate we are looking for:

  • Builds strong relationships with our suppliers and explores new possibilities;
  • Has proven negotiation abilities, driving favorable agreements with suppliers while maintaining trust and collaboration;
  • Has a strong high-level strategic vision, capable of crafting and executing a clear category plan that supports long-term business goals;
  • Identifies market trends and opportunities to better align the water pump product range with customer needs;
  • Presents results, improvements, and new insights;
  • Is eager to learn and wants to participate in a young, diverse, international team of in-house specialists.
